I was told after the fact, that in three classes (including one class of milking does!), the top 3 animals came from our farm....this was not a small show, there were 144 animals shown! I did notice that in the line up for Grand Champion Senior Buck in the show judged by Suzanne McIntire, that four of the animals in the line had come from our farm...that was really cool.

2004

This was somewhat of a "lost year"...our oldest son passed away and our lives have been turned upside down. We did go to a few shows, but I haven't really kept up with posting the wins. I will try to go back and gather that information.

We took six animals to show and came home with four rosettes, eight first place ribbons, five seconds, and five thirds...both Good Measure Farm junior does (Ballerina and Bella) brought home blue ribbons.

Enchanted Hill Moonflower Grand Champion Milking Doe

Moonflower has the most beautiful udder!! Her foreudder is absolutely smooth and she has tremendous medial ligaments and her teats are plumb.

Moonflower's daughter born in 2002, Ivy Acres Windy Plains, won Reserve Grand Champion Milking Doe and Best Udder...Windy is owned by Eileen Lieberz of High Hill Farm, Jones, OK. The photo below is of Windy (the lighter colored doe) and Moonflower when they won the Dam/Daughter competition at the State Fair of Oklahoma on September 21, 2003.

Here is a photo of Moonflower's udder from the rear...she is wide in the escutcheon and has nice legs....overall a beautiful doe.
