Four Permanent Grand Champions at Good Measure Farm!
PGCH Enchanted Hill Moonflower*D
This is the Official Photo from the State Fair of Oklahoma 2003. This is Enchanted Hill Moonflower after winning Grand Champion Milking Doe in the Sunday show. The judge was David Millison. Note her beautiful fore udder....absolutely smooth! Moonflower is 19 1/2 inches tall at the withers. You can see other photos of Moonflower and her udder on the Senior Doe page. Moonflower has now completed her wins for her Permanent Grand Champion title..with 4 NDGA Grand Champion Senior Doe in Milk wins, 3 Best Udder wins and one Reserve Grand Champion Doe in Milk win. Moonflower earned her milking star through progeny when her third daughter (GMF Dark of the Moon) earned her star milking 4.1 lbs on a one day test in May 2008.
PGCH Backwoods Oak StormWatch
Stormy completed the requirements for the
Permanent Grand Champion title
at the 2006 Oklahoma State Fair.
Stormy is an awesome buck with a very sweet personality.
He has had an immense impact on our herd. All his offspring are
long and level and his daughters are proving themselves to be star
milkers.
We are VERY proud of Stormy!
PGCH Good Measure Farm Xavier
Xavier completed his required wins for the PGCH title while at the State Fair of Louisiana in November 2006. Xavier had won a total of one Grand Champion Junior Buck, four Grand Champion Senior Buck titles, and two Reserve Grand Champion Senior Buck titles. Xavier is a an incredible buck with a long, level topline, amazing loose dairy skin, very correct legs and feet. He is angular and upstanding. He measured 22 3/4 inches at his last win at the age of 3 years.
PGCH Good Measure Farm Poe
Poe won all four of his Grand Champion titles as a Senior buck....one in the fall of 2007 at the Oklahoma State Fair and then three in succession at the 2008 Oklahoma State Fair; the Lone Star Goat Fest; and the 2008 Louisiana State Fair. Poe is an amazing animal...gorgeous, very will put together, and very, very sweet! His official height is 21 3/4 inches at 4 years of age! He is long, level, and very wide and open in the escutcheon.

Congratulations to Phil Moss for his Reserve Grand Champion Junior Buck win with Good Measure Farm Fort Boise (PromisedLand CP Fort Knox*S x Good Measure Farm Thumbelina) at the 2004 Heartland Show.... Boise was only 2 months old when he had this win!
This is our new helper, MacAdoo. He is a registered Great Pyrenees, purchased from Lynn McAdoo of Alvarado, Texas. Mac is wonderful. In this photo, he has just finished a very slurpy drink of water, and has been playing in the water as well....note his muddy front feet.
Mac is 3 months old in this picture. He is well bonded to the animals and loves HIS goats. He howls mournfully if he is separated from them even for a few minutes. He does not chase any of the animals, chickens and cats included.
He has already learned to sit on command and loves a good scratch behind the ears. As is typical of the breed, Mac naps during the day and comes fully alert as the sun goes down. He is on the night
